Penylan Bowling Club has installed a defibrillator on the rear wall of the Club House adjacent to the rear doors. Follow this link for basic instructions on how to use it. REMEMBER:
- Anyone can do it
- Don’t be afraid of it
- You can’t do any harm if some one has had a cardiac arrest
- Anything you do is better than nothing
- The defibrillator will not administer a shock if it detects a heart beat
- It will only work if the heart has stopped
- Seconds are vital in commencing treatment
- The more people that are prepared and ready the more chance that someone will be around if it is YOU that suddenly collapses
